"Despite having problems with their water. This motel could have just let us figure it out and took our money. Instead they contacted me until I spoke with them and explained the situation. They offered to cancel the room. But I told them it would be okay. They gave us discounts and I did the pre-check in. When I got there. Everything was waiting for me. I signed one paper about the pet policy and was on my way to my room. Thank you for making sure communication was key. My family truly enjoyed the stay. "

"This is our second year back at this house! My sister’s family and mine like to vacation together and last year we were just looking for a low-key vacation by water with amenities for kids and we sure found it!The property owner is the best we’ve ever had, she’s so responsive and quick to help fix any problems or answer questions.The kitchen is pretty stocked for large groups. Big pots, pans, utensils and tools, a crockpot, blender, coffee maker, lots of large serving bowls and even a picnic basket!There are plenty of DVDs available for use and fishing poles. The fishing poles inspired all of the kids and teens and even a few adults to pick up fishing. There’s a pond for 14 and under to fish in a stones throw from the property.The hottub is clean. They added some kids kayaks since our last stay at that was a great addition! There’s a cool kids adventure course between the trees in the backyard.We love this house, we’ll be back!"

"Our stay was so magical at this beautiful cabin! The location is serene and secluded but still so close to downtown Olympia and the farmers market! It’s such a gorgeous property and the views are unmatched. Showering outside in the magical outdoor shower was so cool and such a dream under the tree canopy! Overall was such a great place for a weekend stay and we loved how accessible the kayaks and paddle boards were as well! Definitely will stay here again "

"Beautiful home with gorgeous views of the sound and pink sunsets. We loved the easy beach access and using the paddle boards to play in the water. The house was very clean, the beds super comfy, and the kitchen had everything we needed to make pizzas! Host Betty was very communicative and lovely to chat with. Highly recommend this house if you're looking for a relaxing weekend "

"This little house is so cozy and comfortable and the view was absolutely spectacular. The location is perfect. Just minutes from town for groceries and restaurants. Also close to multiple parks with great hiking trails. We were in town to visit my son who is stationed at JBLM. We went to the city for a baseball game and a couple of sightseeing tours but mostly we enjoyed hanging at this little oasis in the woods. Highly recommend!! "

The house itself is stunning—thoughtfully decorated with tasteful artwork, cozy bedrooms, and a fully stocked kitchen that made it feel like home the moment we arrived. Every space was curated with care, from the comfy swing chairs to the inviting fire pit surrounded by chairs of all sizes.The view of the water was breathtaking, and the private beach access gave us a peaceful connection to nature that’s hard to find. We kayaked, played chess by the fire, grilled steaks, and enjoyed slow mornings and long evenings on the balcony just soaking it all in.This was the first trip our little family (my ex-wife, our son, and I) has taken in years, and it meant the world to us. We laughed, relaxed, bonded deeply, and created memories we’ll treasure for a lifetime.Despite feeling completely tucked away in nature, we were still only 10–15 minutes from grocery stores and anything else we needed. The perfect balance of seclusion and convenience.Communication with the host was effortless—they were kind, responsive, and incredibly helpful from start to finish.
