Tombolo Vacation Packages
Many of Padova’s attractions can be found within easy reach of Tombolo, so it is a great place to base yourself while you are in town. The Golf Club Ca' Amata and Villa Contarini are amongst the many popular destinations in the area. Two other great attractions that are close by Tombolo are the Castle of Caterina Cornaro and Villa Barbaro.
There are some interesting cultural attractions in and around Tombolo. Join a tour, admire the building in which it is housed or simply enjoy the beautiful artworks at Palazzo Chiericati in Vicenza and Museo Civico. See local and touring artists live on stage at the Olympic Theatre in Vicenza.
If you love nature and wildlife, head to the nearby parks and reserves. These are good spots to relax and unwind. Admire the trees and flowers, pull out your sketch pad, or just relax in the shade at the Padua Botanical Garden.
A number of Padova’s attractions are within driving distance of the Tombolo area, such as Santa Sofia, the Prato della Valle and Padua Cathedral. To learn about the role of faith in Padova, pay a visit to the area’s holy places, such as Scrovegni Chapel, the Church of the Eremitani and Vetrego Church in Mirano.
If you love to play golf, visit the Ca' della Nave Golf Club in Martellago, the Asolo Golf Club in Cavaso del Tomba and the Montecchia Golf Club in Selvazzano Dentro. It’s a great way to enjoy the outdoors.
Spend an evening with fellow basketball lovers at Palaverde, Treviso, cheering on local heroes, the Treviso Basket. On game days the stadium becomes a sea of blue and white, as crowds come together to get behind their beloved team.
