Check-in was super easy. The kitchen had plenty of counterspace for cooking and had most of everything we needed from simple spices to mixing bowls/utensils. I loved that this cabin didn't have a spiral staircase like the last one we stayed in, which made things so simple. The beds were both pretty comfortable! Owners were attentive to the concerns, but in reality, we did not get any problem fixed while we were there. All should have been addressed before we arrived. It’s in a friendly, laidback town that’s a short drive to Gatlinburg and Pigeon Forge. We stayed here with our kids 7 and 10 and they loved the game room. The hosts were great. Had an issue with the hot tub that was user error and they were very quick to respond. This was an amazing vacation that I took with family friends. Our kids all slept in the game room and had an amazing time. While the adults each got their own bedroom and bathroom. The porch was amazing and had an amazing swing and rocking chairs to hang out in. Was also very convenient to go to the caverns, Alpine coasters, and lots of food options. We loved staying at this property. We spent most of our time there reading on the porch in the morning with a cup of coffee, taking in the view, or relaxing in the hot tub after a full day fishing in the park. The cabin is in a perfect location. It feels remote (other than two neighboring cabins) with a beautiful mountain drive and views, surrounded by trees. However, we could be in the park or at a restaurant in Townsend in less than 10 minutes. We are looking forward to returning to this property. Great, quiet, location that was close to town and still in the mountains with amazing views. For example the toilet in the ground floor is loose, the front porch lighting is poor and some don't work. Also the TV doesn't connect to the WiFi. Very important the fridge door doesn't close completely so you loose the temperature very quickly and the door handle is loose too...These are some minor things that can be fixed easily...
