It was perfect for our family of 3 plus our little dog. Close to everything and even had a momma bear and 2 cubs come see us!! Will definitely stay there again this time in the fall when we can use the fire pit!!

Mountain Mist Cabins our favorite place to stay in the Smokey’s

This is our second time staying at Uncle Toms cabin in Townsend. This cabin has a great location, secluded but also close to Maryville and the Park and minutes from Cades Cove. The cabin is clean, beautifully decorated, comes with essentials you might need if you forgot something. The owner Derek is very responsive, and always makes sure your stay is a wonderful experience. We can’t wait to book next years trip with Mountain Mist

Nice, quiet cabin

Very nice cabin for family of four, (kids). Very clean and well appointed. WiFi was very good. Two couples might find it too small as only one bathroom. Hot tub was very nice as well. I stayed with my 16 year old son for hiking/biking in the area. Very pretty. Smokies are worth the drive/stay. Manager responds quickly. Rent with ease of mind

Great location

Just spent a week here and it was amazing. Quiet, peaceful setting off the main road but close to town. Very convenient to Cades Cove. Townsend is definitely the peaceful side of the Smokies!

Very enjoyable

Very easy access and check in. Kitchen very well supplied with cooking and eating utensils. Owner very pleasant and easy to work with. Will definitely stay again.

Perfect!

This cute little cabin was perfect for us! My boyfriend and I actually got engaged while there! Very clean, neat, and there was even a mini Christmas tree there that made it feel cozy around the holidays. The host was great and got back to me almost immediately for every question I had. We will definitely be staying here again!

Cozy cabin in the great smoky mountains

Had such a wonderful week in the great smoky mountains! This cabin was perfect! It’s on the quiet side away from the crazy crowded Gatlinburg area. Very easy access into park with no waiting. Close to restaurants and shopping in Townsend. The cabin was so clean and had everything we needed for the week! Bonus hot tub for soaking in after long hiking days! Highly recommend!!

Cute cabin!

Uncle Tom’s Cabin was a great place to stay. Very close to Townsend. Everything you’d need for cooking your own meals; the dishes, pots and pans looked very new. We loved the hot tub. One thing I would say is if you’re looking for a sun-filled cabin, this is not it. The overhanging trees didn’t let a lot of light in (our stay was in September); however, there were plenty of indoor light options to cover the areas. Would stay again!

property was nice

cabin needed more lighting could not see a magazine not enough light, fireplace was just a fake light bulb even that did not work, need to do a better job cleaning some previous person had left clothing under bed at head board and had massive amount of dust there also, had to get lite bulbs to replace the ones that did not work.

Woodsy Getaway

Thank you for allowing me to celebrate my 30th birthday in your wonderful home! It was so nice to have a small getaway in such a relaxing location! My husband and daughter enjoyed it just as much as I did. She has plenty of space to run and we took advantage of the hot tub to wind down.
