🐾Our Dog-Friendly Approach We love hosting well-behaved, house-trained dogs over 1 year old. Please send us a message with your dog’s age and breed upon booking so we can confirm suitability. A $100 pet fee per stay applies (unless otherwise noted) to help cover additional cleaning. Our official limit is 2 dogs, but let us know if you are bringing 3. We appreciate you ensuring your furry friend treats the cabin gently, as guests are responsible for any damages beyond normal wear. Please use the designated outdoor pet area and help keep the space clean by picking up after your dog. Some waste stations may be provided for your convenience. A friendly note for guests with allergies: While we thoroughly clean after every stay, please remember this is a dog-welcoming home. If you have severe dog allergies, this may not be the most comfortable environment for you.
📝Helpful Cabin Information ✔ We welcome guests 21 years of age and older to book and be the primary renter. ✔ Hot tub use is at your own risk. For guests 21+ only. No alcohol near the hot tub. Not recommended during pregnancy. ✔ To ensure everyone’s comfort and safety, please make sure your guest count matches your reservation. Unregistered guests may incur an additional fee ($25 per person per night) or require adjustments to the stay. ✔ To ensure a peaceful experience for everyone in the area, we kindly ask guests to observe quiet hours between 10 PM and 9 AM. ✔ Enjoy the cozy ambiance of the electric fireplace during the cooler months (it’s operational from October 1st through March 31st). ✔ For safety reasons and per local regulations, open flames (including candles and unauthorized outdoor fires) are not permitted. We appreciate your cooperation in preventing fire hazards. Misuse may result in a $250 fee plus any damage costs. ✔ Help us keep the wildlife wild and safe! Please note that guests are responsible for any damages incurred during their stay. ✔ Need a little extra time? Early check-in or late check-out may be possible for a $50 fee, depending on the cleaning schedule. Please inquire in advance.

It was a wonderful convenient getaway for me and my son to stage someday hiking and sightseeing. It was very cozy and pleasant. The owners were very helpful and responsive. I would definitely book a trip there again.
We enjoyed the cabin. It was quiet and tucked away, but close to restaurants and good walking trails. It was also close to the National park so we could enjoy hikes there. The cabin was clean and comfortable, and we enjoyed the hot tub. Communication with the host was great.
It was perfect for our family of 3 plus our little dog. Close to everything and even had a momma bear and 2 cubs come see us!! Will definitely stay there again this time in the fall when we can use the fire pit!!
My husband and I came for some much needed time away. This cabin was perfect, and we really enjoyed the surrounding area and views. We hope to come back again!
Just spent a week here and it was amazing. Quiet, peaceful setting off the main road but close to town. Very convenient to Cades Cove. Townsend is definitely the peaceful side of the Smokies!
We enjoyed our stay very much. Nice cabin and everything was furnished. We just found that someone had not taken care of one of his fryers for cooking , but we just used his newer one. We would, just as a suggestion, a pitcher for tea be added to his collection. Our entire stay was great and bed slept fantastic!! Thanks Derek!
We came here for our honeymoon. It was the perfect location for us! Enjoy the quietness of the Smokies without being too far from any activity. The cabin is so cute, loved the game station and the hot tub!
Excellent Stay at Beautiful Cabin in the Mountains
This cabin far exceeded our expectations, it was clean, comfortable and had everything you needed for a perfect stay. The location is perfect. We definitely give this cabin a 5 star review and will be booking it again on our next trip to Townsend/Cades Cove.
Very easy access and check in. Kitchen very well supplied with cooking and eating utensils. Owner very pleasant and easy to work with. Will definitely stay again.
Very happy with Uncle Toms Cabin in Townsend. It was nicely appointed, comfortable and loved how convenient to Townsend activities. We were there for Smoky Mountain Hot Air Balloon Festival and this cabin was perfectly located.
This cabin was very clean, comfortable, and had all of the amenities we needed (pots/pans, dishes, etc.). Check-in and check-out process was very easy, and Derek was very responsive during our stay. It was great staying in a quieter area vs the business of Pigeon Forge. We also enjoyed several restaurants in the area. Would highly recommend!
The cabin was perfect. Just the right size for my wife, myself, and our 2 dogs.
We were happy to see that some restaurants in Townsend allow dogs to accompany their owners on their patios.
We had a great trip.
