The bathroom had glass walls which is ok but a door for toilet privacy would be appreciated. The shower floor wasn’t tile but linoleum that gave way as you stepped on in. There is a restaurant and bar. Food was tasty. Did not use the pool or spa. "

"The hotel was lovely, the staff was so kind and the entire property smelled like orange blossoms from the trees next to the hotel. The provided breakfast buffet was so good and fresh and the staff also offered individual dishes as well as espressos! My only "complaint" would be that the location has very limited restaurants, like only 3 and 2 of them were closed on Mondays! Bring some snacks and you will love the hotel!"

"Stunning hotel that I believe was a hospital. It has gated parking. Parking in Portugal is hard to find. There is an indoor pool and two outdoor pools, one of which is shallow and has slides for children. Our dinner at the restaurant was excellent and reasonably priced. I also enjoyed a spa treatment that was wonderful and relaxing. The location is perfect and we were able to walk to most of the attractions and historical buildings as well as numerous shops, bakeries and restaurants. I wonderful experience."

"My family and I had a fantastic 3-night stay at Delfim Douro Hotel. The room was immaculate, spacious, and featured a very comfortable bed with high-end linens. Every one room with a cute balcony. The front desk representative went above and beyond to make sure we felt welcome. Breakfast had a great variety of fresh options to start the day with a good mood. Dining at our hotel was a delightful experience from start to finish. The food was exceptional, the staff was attentive and kind. The elegant atmosphere provided the perfect setting for a relaxed evening. The location of the Hotel is unbeatable. Wonderful viewing the beauty of Nature we were admiring from the terrace and balcony. The way the colors blend into each other is spectacular; it looks like a painting. We had an unforgettable experience and will absolutely be staying here again."

"Beautiful bed & breakfast, up the hill from downtown Regua. Nice view looking down to the Douro River. The house is tastefully decorated. Breakfast was very good, lots to choose from. You really need a car if you stay here or have to call taxis. Even though they're just a mile from the train station the owner will not drop you off or pick you up."
