When I arrived at this "motel" I was shocked to see it in total disarray, weeds growing out of the concrete, the sign was totally broken, an abandoned building beside it, but seemed to be part of the property. I thought the property was abandoned. I went to the office to find no one there, a weathered sign on the door gave a phone number, so I called it the person who answered said they would be here in a few minutes, 20 minutes later he called me and said he would be there as soon as he could get out of his other job. another 20 minutes and he arrived, wearing a KFC shirt, and after several minutes convincing him I had prepaid, he gave me a key, the room was in better shape than the rest of place. I was glad I was alone, if my partner was with me, she would have refused to stay, but I prepaid and it had a bed. No internet, no coffee, no amenities period. There was a couple who seemed to be living there, but not working there, other than that there was no one, it was obvious why.
