Unfortunately hotel is having alot of issues at the time I stayed there. Heating in some rooms not working, phones in my room not working. Decor is quite old and dated.

This place is only good, certainly not excellent, because its location is very good( easy access to Cardiff, Bute Park and stadiums), it is very clean and the breakfasts are excellent.
However, the room and the ensuite were disappointingly small,especially for the price! Also, with the exception of the lovely breakfast girls, there was little warmth in the welcome at the main reception desk.Certainly, the least welcoming place we have stayed in for a while!

Reception was excellent. Breakfast was superb albeit the continental part was a little sparse but ok! Lovely room and bed lovely bars friendly staff .. I got it at a good price too.
