"My husband, 13 month old and I all had a great stay on Lake Norman! We were only there for a couple nights for a short getaway but could have definitely stayed longer to enjoy the area more. Something for everyone. Could easily dock the boat. Had deep water. The only thing that could be difficult for those with disabilities is that there are quite a few stairs. "We have used this house before for a birthday weekend for my husband's mother. It was very nice returning and everyone already knew which rooms they liked and the house layout made it much better. The kids enjoyed the lake while kayaking and swimming. Another plus is less than 10 minutes to Lake Norman State Park which has hiking trails and a swim beach."
