Nestled along the Kootenai River, this mountain town offers world-class fly fishing and access to stunning Cabinet Mountain trails. Visit in July for the famous Kootenai River Stampede Rodeo or rent a boat to explore the peaceful waters of Bull Lake.
The owner of the hotel was incredibly kind, and went above and beyond to help us during our stay, even driving us to a restaurant since we were a group of hikers with no car and public transport in Bonners Ferry is limited to say the least. The rooms were nice and clean, the beds were comfortable, and i loved the little front yard area with picnic tables.

We were on our motorcycles on a scenic route from Idaho through Montana and found this to be a perfect stop. Pleasantly surprised at how nice this was for such a reasonable price. Manager was so friendly and helpful, we felt like so welcomed. M/C friendly restaurants in walking distance and train and farm animals in the distance. So cool to have city accommodations in a rural setting ;o) Would definitely go again.
