Only issue with location is that I was frequently going to palais des expositions which doesn't have a direct route by public transport so walking was usually faster. "We were told that the apartment we originally booked had a flooding issue and is unavailable, so were given a different one in the same Old Town location. Location was great. The property - not so much. As soon as you open the door, the smell of mildew and urine hits your nose. There was no shampoo/conditioner. The apartment "living room" was tiny, and if you were to put up the clothes hanger to dry your laundry - you either could not stay in the living room, or could not get through the kitchen...
