“The hotel owner was a professional guesthouse hotelier and also an educated woman, the former teacher of history and the present staff member of the Stalin Museum. Her house was designed by the same architect who built the museum. The living room of the guesthouse featured antique furniture, so staying there was a museum-like experience. “Very nice hotel in a wonderfully remote location – something worth noting, as there are no restaurants nearby and everything requires at least a 20–30 minute drive. For us, this was exactly what we were looking for, and part of the charm. The facilities are quite new and very comfortable, with a large, comfy bed and a spacious bathroom featuring a fantastic rain shower. The pool area is lovely, and the sauna and hot tub are available upon request.
