“Easily the worst overnight stay I have encountered anywhere in my travels. We had no working water heater the first 24 hours so none of us could shower. The floors were sticky. We killed two sizeable spiders in the unit. The whole place smelled like chemicals but I couldn’t quite place what they were. Every shower had mold and mildew (and gross amounts of caulking) and mine included a sliver of dried bar soap complete with black speck inside the soap dish. The pillows were the kind you might……

“The house was absolutely fabulous. We had a great time with our family, and it was so nice of the owner, Brid, to meet us there and show us around the property. She also gave us wonderful recommendations for local restaurants and attractions. “We returned to Ireland after many years and were so happy to have chosen this spot as our stay in Ennis. Lynda was the best host, providing us with the cleanest and most updated accommodations. And tasty homemade bread!! It was roomy and peaceful. We felt safe and comfortable. The location is very centrally located to many spots: Galway, Doolin, Aran Islands, Bunratty and Shannon Airport.Definitely recommend and will be visiting again!”

“We made the barricks property our home base for our family group of 9 while exploring Ireland and could not have asked for better accommodations! The restored property is absolutely beautiful!
