Too many bad experiences over the years, so I have high standards as a result. That’s why I specifically chose Hampton Inn & Suites, known to me personally for its reliable comfort and thoughtful amenities. I was not disappointed. From the remote sealed in plastic to the fully stocked room and the incredibly comfortable bed and pillows, everything felt fresh, clean, and well cared for. And the continental breakfast was the cherry on top—complete with make-your-own fresh waffles (in two flavors), scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, bagels with peanut butter and jelly, mini scones, fresh fruit, orange juice, coffee… and even a friendly morning chat with the host, Faye. I had the paid receipt and itinerary number and still could not find the reservaiton. After 90 miniutes calling Hampton's number we found a phone number for Hotels.com and that customer service gentleman (I didn't catch his name) gave the hotel yet a different number to prove that I had a reservation and I was finally in the room 90 minutes after walking in the door.
