Odd place in Turku

If you are getting off an evening ferry and into a morning train in Turku, then maybe you’d consider this place. But otherwise, no. It is basic basic with zero frills (and a very disinterested welcome). Not worth it for the price.

The bed was comfortable, but our blanket did not cover the two of us. It was too small for the bed. There are no blackout curtains so it was not dark in our room. The towels were very thin.

Walls and windows are probably made of cardboard paper since you hear everything going on inside and outside of this hostel. Window blinds are of the cheapest variety and woefully inadequate for nordic summer where it starts to get bright at 4am. No recommended if you want a good night sleep.

Karsea kokemus. En hinnan perusteella odottanutkaan mitään erikoista, mutta täydellinen riman alitus. Huonetta ei oltu siivottu kunnolla aikoihin ja joka paikassa karsea pölykerros. Vessa niin siivottomassa kunnossa, että jopa hävetti omistajien puolesta. Sijainti ok mutta muuten never again.

Onneton ex-asuntola?

Vähän kanikoppia suurempi huone, jossa ei sen enempää hyllyjä kuin naulakoita vaatteille. Suihkusuutinta EI saanut ripustetuksi tankoon, se piti pitää kädessä. Suihkuverhosta ei tietoa, sen enempää kuin pyyhekoukkuja.

En suosittele

Koirahuone 15e, eikä edes vesikuppia koiralle. Saavuin myöhään niin omistaja/työntekijä tuli hakkaamaan ovea että nyt täytyy maksaa se lemmikkimaksu. Kaapissa lisäpeitto, mutta siinä ei pussilakanaa. En suosittele, jäi todella outo olo koko majoituksesta.

On niitä huonompiakin nähty.

Hinta-/laatusuhde nippanappa ok. Ovi murron tai jonkun muun vuoksi lukon kohdalta raollaan. Sisäovessa onneton salpa joka pidättelee ehkä kovaa tuulta. Suihku-/wc tila ahdas. Wc.n kynnys korjattu ilmastointiteipillä. Pölyä pinnoilla silminnähden. Yksinkertainen nukkumakoppi.

No eipä päässyt yöksi, kun hotellin seinässä lukee, että klo 23 eteenpäin ei pääse sisään! hotels.com sivuilla vain teksti parin klikkauksen päässä, että sisäänkirjautuminen 23.00. Eipä kauheasti käynyt selville, että ei pääse sisään 23 jälkeen. Vaikka siihen tuli klo 00.30 mopopoika ja päästi sisään toisen henkilön. Olisin kuulema saanut tulla, jos maksan uudestaan 😂 absurdi tilanne seistä hotellin ulkopuolella huone maksettuna ja ei pääse sisään. Sanoi myös hassusti, että juuri se huone on myyty uusiksi. Hieno bisnesmalli… varsin huoneen siinä 21.30 maissa ja ei käynyt mielessäkään, että ei puolentoista tunnin päästä sisään pääsisi… no olen ollut yhden yön aikaisemmin, missä afrikkalainen kaveri varmaan veti omaan taskuun kun käteinen vain kävi ja kuitteja ei jaellut. No taisin saada halvemmalla. Kamala läävä ja ainoa syy yöpymiseen oli kun muut täynnä. No kuititta sai halvemmalla
