"This site is definitely off the beaten track but not far from Cefalu where we went to visit. When we checked in the host told us about an local festival going on that evening so we walked the 8 minutes to the site of then festival and were able to sample some of the local cuisine. Every morning we awoke to the sound of bells from the local sheep herds. On Sunday morning we attended Mass at the local parish where we were part of a 50 year wedding celebration. It was a little out of Cefalu and I would have preferred something a little closer or alternatively I stayed in the actual resort at another time and enjoyed the location more. "Hotel was in a great location, with a balcony overlooking the beach (from across the street), and a short walk to downtown area and up to La Rocca! Hotel itself is a bit of a step back in time but suited our needs and had a nice breakfast. A few minor challenges, hairdryer didn’t work, shower didn’t drain properly, and had to leave room key each time you left the hotel, which we had never come across before but otherwise worked well for us.
