"Check in 3pm and Check out time is 10am. This is so bad, normally should be 12 to 2pm. Because of the restaurant that is open in the courtyard of the hotel at night from 7:30 in the evening until night, it is not possible to be comfortable in the hotel and the hotel area is practically closed after 7. But the rooms are very clean and nice. And the sea and mountain view is great. The hotel restaurant offers many good tasting dishes for lunch time"

"Full of character (with a museum in the basement). Close to restaurants and other sights (the cathedral/museums etc...). Self catering in rooms is basic - better to eat out. About 120 Euro taxi ride from Catania airport. Reception is not 24/7 so arriving out of hours needs some advance planning. Reception staff are very helpful. Ortigia itself is tiny and you can walk everywhere. Don't forget your afternoon siestas. "

Slightly odd place with communal washing machine and no real front of desk. It is next door to a wedding venue and on four of our five nights there was a wedding on…which was loud. "The residence was amazing and let us have an amazing staying in Trapani. I really enjoyed the central location, the size of the room and the view from the room. The property is in an amazing remodeled and historical building, super clean and with an incredible terrace for breakfast where you can see whole Trapani from the top. The location is walking distance from everything and this is amazing especially during the weekends, you walk downstair and you are already in the center of the night life...

"Casa D’aria is a quaint and lovely place for a vacation set in an ideal location in Catania. The eclectic style of the entire building is so interesting and homey. We had excellent communication with the owners leading up to our check in. The room was massive! With the comfiest bed tucked up on a loft. We made use of the full kitchenette and our room even had a washer to do our laundry. The rooftop communal terrace was a great place to enjoy a bottle of wine and listen to the sounds of Catania....

"There was no at the reception desk. The property manager accused me of lying about my kids because there were 2 single beds joined but we were 3 people. My daughter had to sleep in the middle of the 2 beds . The pillows were uncomfortable . There was 1roll of toilet paper. I had to go buy my own. I had no internet service. The kitchen was somewhat clean but you could see their storage room that was messy Nd made kitchen aesthetically unappealing. The night table and desk shelf was dusty ."
