Absolutely Beautiful Spot
Our stay was wonderful - house was clean, well stocked with everything we needed and well designed for families. The location is unbeatable. River views out the front, great for wildlife watching, fishing and coffee on the porch. With just a short beach walk you’re at the Atlantic for different waterfront vibes! The island is bikeable and we absolutely loved being a short drive to Savannah to enjoy all the city has to offer. We had an unbelievable time on our first visit to Tybee!

Gorgeous Views and Great Location!
Very charming beach house! The house and dock were well set up and well maintained. We were within walking distance to several great restaurants and cute shops. We did a kayak trip to Little Tybee with Sea Kayak Georgia, and it actually left from the beach right next to the house. It doesn’t get easier than that. Christopher sent us some really good restaurant recommendations, and we had fun trying them. Elizabeth’s in Savannah, and Sundae Cafe on Tybee were excellent. It was a fun, relaxing get away. We’d love to come back.

Lovely Anniversary Trip
My husband and I absolutely loved our stay! Spectacular location, beautiful sunsets over the water, house was well decorated. My husband enjoyed fishing off the homes pier! We easily walked to dining, shopping, and the city pier and beach! We will definitely be back again!

Family Vacation
This was my family’s 3rd time visiting tybee and this was by far the best place we’ve stayed! The location is perfect, and you have everything you need right there. The host is super helpful with suggestions on where to go while there too. We highly recommend and will definitely be back!!

Perfect beach weekend
This is one of the best short term rental properties we’ve ever stayed in! Chris was great and the house was very clean and well decorated. It is literally under 10 steps from the porch to the beach. The sunsets off the dock were incredible and we loved morning kayaking as well. Highly highly recommend this place.

AMAZING
We had an absolutely FANTASTIC week at this house. What is not to love about it, honestly. We practically lived on on the dock. It was so fantastic to have a place to sit on the water, listen to the waves, out of the sand....can be in shade or sun....it was absolute perfection. You are definitely close enough to walk to the beaches on the ocean, to souvenir shop, or to some of the local restaurants. The beds were VERY comfortable. No backaches at all! We did not utilize the downstairs under the house very much because we stayed on the dock, but having an extra refrigerator down there and a bathroom was SOO nice! We also loved the Sonos music and used it everyday all over the house/dock! Christopher answered the only couple questions we had very promptly. We really loved their place and enjoyed every single minute at their house. We will be back.

Great property!
Everything about this home and it’s owner are five stars! My friends and I had a great time staying right on the beach. The pictures accurately represent the beauty of this property. Fabulous sunsets, perfect beach and dock sitting and having Sonos in zones was great. So convenient and the Publix delivers. Outdoor TV and game room was great too. Can’t say enough to recommend staying here!

The Perfect Getaway!!
We wanted total relaxation and great ocean views for our baby moon and this Beach House did not disappoint!! It was simply AMAZING!! The house was spotless and the layout was great! The view was breathtaking and we absolutely loved the private dock for fishing. This place was well equipped and had everything we needed. Chris was extremely nice and accommodating. The neighbors were friendly and local restaurants were good. We will definitely book again…next time we hope to bring our little one along. Thanks Chris for a wonderful vacation!!

We loved this beautiful home on the beach. Will definitely return. Sunset views were amazing over the Tybee creek. The place was very clean and up to date, great layout. The beach is public and home near an access road but this did not cause any problems. Dock to the water was amazing. Easy walk up to restaurant and stores. We had plenty of beach room. Only suggestion would be to add a few hooks in the bathrooms :). Thank you for allowing us to stay in your beautiful cottage.

Great Waterfront Escape!
Our family had a great time on Tybee and the surrounding area, this place made a great home base. The house was clean and had everything we would need, and you couldn’t beat the location. Walkable to many restaurants and shops locally, and quick drive to Savannah. Was great to swim or launch a family kayak trip right out the backdoor. Would stay again on our next trip to the area!

Beautiful Property in great location
Our family including two teens had a great week here. The property was just as listed and in a great location. We were able to walk to many areas in town and it was an easy drive to the other end of the island. Not only was the house clean and in great shape, the private dock with covered and uncovered areas was great for relaxing in the sun and the shade. It was a perfect spot for an evening picnic and board games and to get sun and read during the day. The porch with rocking chairs was also great and the best spot to watch sunsets. We also saw dolphins several times including when we kayaked from the property. Lots of relaxing and adventures to be had for all.

Great beach house
The house is at/riverside with the ocean within view. It had everything you could possibly want at the beach. The dock was great for relaxing. We didn’t fish but the neighbors were catching. It’s open and airy. Beautifully decorated. We loved it and will probably stay there again.

Awesome Getaway…
When three mature ladies needed a break from life, this was the perfect place. We walked along the beach and explored Tybee Island and Savannah… my only problem was that I could not devote more days to this vacation ! The house was absolutely perfect. Smelled and felt super clean on arrival and the host was quick to respond to my singular question: “Can we check in early?”

Great Family Vacation
We had a great stay and this made for the perfect site for our family vacation with our two kids. Being able to walk right out to the beach with two little kids was so nice. We loved our time here and our kids were sad to leave but loved the time we got to spend. The recommendations for restaurants were super helpful as well!

Perfect get away
We loved our time in this home. It was exactly what we needed. Waking up with the view of the water and ending the day with the most beautiful sunsets were amazing . The location was perfect and we enjoyed the short walk on the beach to the South end of the island. Our family of 4 needed this time together! We split time between the peacefulness of the ocean and beach and great food, a trip into Savannah and exploring Fort Pulaski. And Chris was wonderful and responsive. Perfect location!
You won't want to stay anywhere else on Tybee Island - this is THE best property on the island! You literally trip out the door onto the beach. We were there 4th of July and it was never overcrowded. The house has everything you need and it is very clean. The dock is amazing! A great place for morning coffee, a lounge chair to read a book, an afternoon nap in the hammock listening to the ocean waves or a meal at the picnic table. It is a public beach, but MUCH quieter than the beaches on the ocean side. EVERYTHING is within walking distance. It was VERY hot the week we visited. I don’t think we could have enjoyed the outdoors as much if we stayed one or two houses off the ocean. The ocean breeze made the weather absolutely perfect! Chris is an excellent host! He provided us with a ton of useful information before we arrived. He is very responsive and truly seemed to care that we had a great experience while we visited.

Can’t beat the location
Such a great place to spend a week. Excellent sandy beach on Tybee Creek/back river with very little surf for kids to safely play. Chris have us all the info we needed to have a great time, and the house is fully stocked with gear to use outside. Tons of sea birds, dolphins, and even had a sea turtle swim up in the surf one morning.

Amazing beach house!
The property is in a perfect location. Quick walk, bike ride, or drive to any entertainment or amenities one could ask for. The house is beautifully decorated and well equipped - we didn’t want to leave. The dock is a haven and perfect for AM coffee, reading, viewing sensational sunsets and dolphin watching. The owner was vey easy to work with and helpful. We hope to return again.

Gorgeous Views and Great Location
This was a fantastic vacation. The house is beautiful and the location is amazing! Being able to watch the sunset and moonset over the water from the back porch is a delight on its own. Not to mention the large private dock right on the water. And if you enjoy watching wildlife you are in for a treat. From the porch and dock, we saw dolphins and jumping fish along with tons of different sea birds. There's even a bald eagle family across the water that we got to see diving for fish! Chris was an excellent host and we really appreciate his hospitality. The house was well stocked, updated, and very clean. When we cooked, we had everything we needed. He also gave us a thorough breakdown of the dining options on the island and in Savannah which were really helpful. We will absolutely book again next time we go to Tybee!

Best place on the beach for a family!
I have been putting off writing this review, not wanting to admit that our vacation is over! The house and surrounding property, not to mention the views, are without comparison in Tybee. We took our family of 5, with 3 young children (2, 7, and 8), and the property was just perfect. Lots of prime beach and sand territory for the kids, just enough waves but not too much for the littlest, and unparalleled sunset views off the front porch. The house is well-stocked with beach toys and towels, and you are in convenient walking distance to several restaurants and sights. We did a great fossil tour through Sundial Charters that was a highlight of our trip, and they can basically pick you up at the house you’re so close to Fisherman’s Walk! Only problem we had with the house was a slippery spot on the hardwood floor in the main walking area- probably from wear, sand, and cleaner- but I think each one of us wiped out there at least once during our stay! Chris, thank you for such a memorable trip, and I promise you we will be back to enjoy your beautiful property again very soon!

Perfect Vacation!
We had an excellent time on our spring break trip! The house is beautiful and the view is breathtaking. Everything was so nice and clean. Chris was excellent at communicating and sent us a ton of information before we arrived. The weather wasn’t fully cooperative- it was SO windy! When Chris tells you to be aware of sand over the driveway- follow his instructions! Great trip! Excellent house! Everything we could have wanted. We can’t wait to come back!

Beautiful little beach
I wouldn't count this against the star rating because it is very much a me problem, but I want to preface this review by saying the area was not very private nor quiet. I'm very introverted and probably wouldn't have chosen this place if I had known that. That aside, it really was very beautiful and the home was well kept, clean, and stocked above and beyond most VRBO rentals. The owner of this property was so incredibly helpful and gave us tons of info, which was awesome. The location is incredible, as was the private dock. My partner loved it and would probably come back with friends for more outdoor activities. This place would be great if you had kids or teens.

Most spectacular sunset views
Beautiful home right on the beach. Our family of 4 thoroughly enjoyed our time on Tybee in this home. It was our first time visiting. The sunsets were absolutely stunning every night. If we have the opportunity to come back we will definitely book this house again.
