Perfect hotel a bit outside Nagano

What this hotel lacks in location is fully compensated and more by the excellent hospitality, helpfulness and friendliness of the staff, delicious food (we had half board) and very nice onsen facilities. I have stayed in many hotels in Japan and all over and Seifuen hotel staff really is exceptional. We stayed three nights while visiting near-by ski resorts during the day and coming back just in time for dinner. The location is a bit away from everything but the shuttle bus service to Tokuga Station and back makes the location ok just 20min from Nagano and Ueda. The dinners were amazing delicacies set beautifully and ready at the time of our reservation time. Onsen facilities are very nice and the water quality excellent. Outside onsen had a beautiful architecture which we appreciated. I truly recommend this hotel if staying around Nagano

ます。 【宿泊記】戸倉上山田温泉 清風園に行ってきた！源泉掛け流しの湯と食事のリアルな感想 信州・戸倉上山田温泉にある「清風園」に宿泊してきました。全体として心地よい滞在となりましたが、お湯の素晴らしさに感動した一方で、お食事（特に味噌汁！）をめぐって少し複雑な気持ちになる場面もありました。率直な感想をレポートします。 1. 温泉：無色無臭の源泉掛け流しがとにかく最高！ まず一番伝えたいのは、温泉の質の高さです。 清風園のお湯は、無色無臭の源泉掛け流し。硫黄臭が強い温泉も温泉らしさがあって良いものですが、クセがなく肌にすーっと優しく馴染むこの源泉は本当に最高でした。 湯あたりしにくく、長湯を楽しめるのも魅力。身体の芯からじっくり温まり、お風呂上がりは肌がすべすべ・ツルツルになる感覚をしっかり実感できました。温泉好きならこれだけでも訪れる価値が十分あります。 2. 夕食：お料理は絶品…でも「おかわりの対応」に一言 夕食は品数・味付けともにクオリティが高く、信州の味覚を存分に堪能できる素晴らしい内容で大満足でした。 ……ただし、一点だけとても残念な出来事が。 夕食で出された「なめこ汁（味噌汁）」が非常においしかったため、給仕の方におかわりをお願いしてみたところ、戻ってきたお返事が「具なしなら、おかわり大丈夫です」という言葉。 一瞬耳を疑ってしまいました。「具なしならOK」というのは接客として少々寂しく、せっかく美味しいお料理で気分が高まっていただけに、一気にがっかりしてしまいました。 3. 朝食ビュッフェ：大々的なアピールが裏目に…？ 翌朝の朝食はビュッフェ形式。会場へ向かうと、目立つ場所に大きく「食べる味噌汁」と書かれたアピールPOPが掲げられていました。 「一体どんな味噌汁だろう？」と思って覗いてみると、そこに用意されていたのはきのこがたっぷり入った汁物（食べ放題）。 その瞬間、昨夜の「具なしならおかわりOK」というやり取りが頭をよぎり、「昨夜あんなに渋られたきのこ汁が、朝は食べ放題なんだ…」と、またしても少し複雑でがっかりした気持ちになってしまいました。 全体を通してのまとめ 温泉： 100点満点！無色無臭の贅沢な源泉掛け流しは何度でも浸かりたくなる極上の湯。 食事： お料理自体の味は夕食・朝食ともに非常に美味。 接客・サービス： お味噌汁のひとコマだけが悔やまれるポイント。ちょっとした言い回しやサービス基準ひとつで印象が変わってしまうだけに、少し勿体なく感じました。 温泉とお料理の「味」自体は間違いなく素晴らしい宿なので、温泉重視でゆったり過ごしたい方にはぜひおすすめしたいお宿です。次回伺う際は、サービス面でもより気持ちの良い体験ができることを期待したいです！

浴場にタオル類が完備されているため、お風呂に入るたびに新しいタオルが使えるのがとてもよかった。お部屋も清潔でとても心地よく過ごせました。お食事も美味しく、また箸がとても使いやすく、柄も素敵だったので、帰りにホテル内の売店で買い求めてしまいました。

最高の温泉の一つです。

温泉は、最高でした。夕食、朝食も最高でした。新幹線で上田下車後、ローカル線で戸倉で降りるのですが、接続は、比較的にスムーズでした。帰りは、駅まで送ってくれました。新幹線が長野を通るまでは、たいへん栄えた温泉街であり、今も変わらない趣きがありました。

部屋は広くてよかったですが、使ってない部屋だったのか、ホコリが気になりました。浴衣とタオルが用意してあったタオルには木のクズがついていました。庭園にある足湯は汚かったです。あの汚さであれば、足湯は利用できないようにしたほうがいいと思います。

丁寧な接客を体験できる

敷地外駐車場までお出迎えから即荷物を預かっていただき、ウェルカムドリンクの後部屋へ案内。 終始大変丁寧な接客をしていただけます。 食事は朝夕ともに少しずつですが品数多く、お腹いっぱいとてもおいしくいただきました。 素晴らしい宿だと思います。 機会があればまた利用したいです。

総合的には良いですが...

総合的な印象の評価としては5のうち4です。トイレの便器内の黒ずみ、洗面台の水のつまり、浴衣から男性の加齢臭がした、温泉内で、係の女性が何回もシャンプーなどの補充に来た。着替え途中にもチラチラ視線を感じとても不快でした。そのほかは良いです。
