"A very warm welcome when we arrived. The bedroom had character, was clean and comfortable with a nice view of the loch. Ten minutes walk to the centre of Ullapool. Checking in was at set times, booked before arrival, the last time being 6.45pm, which was a little restrictive. Compared with other places to stay this was good value for money."

"Our stay was very relaxed. Our room was equipped with everything we needed. Including refreshments a fan and iron and ironing board. The staff were lovely and our food was very tasty. We would highly recommend this hotel. 🤗"

The Drumbeg Hotel

"A nice hotel situated off the beaten track but convenient for those driving the NC500. The drive to get to The Drumbeg (I drove from Bettyhill) was incredible- and probably the highlight for me! The hotel was comfortable and had a homely feel to it but other comments of it being quite dated are right. Delicious home cooked evening meal but incredibly pricey- but seems to be the norm for hotels like these (small menu, well cooked, expensive). Hotel was quiet and had all you need for a quiet stopover."

"Very lovely stay in the pod. It was clean and cozy and comfortable. We did not receive the instructions for how to check in but contacted the host and solved the problem. It was stressful because there is very little internet access in that area. The beautiful beach is a short walk away."

"Lovely home from home ideal for us as a couple for two weeks as plenty space. Also lots of capacity if our family had been able to join us. Cental in Ullapool and plenty places to eat in walking distance. Easy to communicate with Dennis the host."
