“What a fabulous hotel - so unique and stylish, and Susie on reception was a delight and very helpful from the moment I arrived. I will return to Gothenburg just to revisit the hotel.”
“Perfect room, perfect location, perfect service. For foreign travelers (especially Americans) parking is with apps all over Sweden. Luckily most parking lots work with one or two apps and they mostly use the same apps. However, debit cards are preferred and the apps use two factor authorization, so it is advisable to have a Sweden phone number in your phone.”
“Lovely, fun and sassy place to stay. Adults only. The room was incredibly quiet being so close to the city and trains. The staff was friendly and helpful. The restaurant was really good, and the roofbar very lively. The room needed some maintenance, which we told the front desk about. I'd recommend asking for a quiet room on the canal side, which seemed quieter than the train side, and definitely not having a room over the bar next door, which seemed to go late into the morning.
Highly……
“Great location, very clean site. Only issue was that the Stugor cottage accommodation was not as described or as seen in photos. There were supposed to be bunk beds plus one single bed in one room and the soda bed in the living area. There were only bunk beds and the sofa bed. We questioned this with reception and they showed a picture saying does it not look like this, showing the picture that we had seen online with the extra single bed. Clearly staff don't know what the accommodation has……
“The hotel overall is quite dated. For example, there are no outlets or USB ports on one side of the bed, and the furnishings are also outdated. The hair dryer was clogged and had to be cleaned by us before we could use it. On the positive side, the breakfast was great, and the staff was very helpful. The location is good.”
“1) The zinc roof outside the window is extremely noisy when rain. 2) The ceiling and the wall are so thin that I can hear the noise from the others since 7 am every day. 3) The 7-day stay, I left my iPad in the room only on the last day, and I found my iPad pencil was missing inside the room when I came back.”
