My family stayed at this establishment recently. We paid $325 for a family suite as we had 7 people staying. The room was not very clean. We took our kids to the pool where there was no pool towels at all. We went to the front desk to obtain some pool towels and they didn’t have any either. They gave us gym towels (the size you’d use to wipes sweat off your face) to use for the pool…The pullout bed had no bedding on it or in the room to utilize (even though we had 7 people on our check in list). When we went up front to get sheets and pillows, we were given 2 fitted sheets and a blanket with no pillows. Then for breakfast they had no protein items except boiled eggs. There was cereal, oatmeal, and waffles and a few others items. And it also was not ready at their 7am breakfast time. It was about 7:30 by the time these items were actually prepared. For an establishment that advertises this great breakfast with great amenities we won’t be staying there again. It was not worth the money we paid at all.

Very nice hotel in a very nice neighborhood. It felt safe and comfortable in the community since we were trying to avoid the downtown St Louis area and its traffic.. Our room was with a balcony which the front desk was very helpful in arranging for us. I would go back for sure if traveling in the area.

8.8/10 Excellent! (1,006 reviews)
When checking in, the staff woman was less than friendly. There seemed to be a situation with another upset guest that may have caused the unpleasant nature. Once we entered the room, we noticed right away a musty smell. The AC did not seem to be working correctly. Though it never got hot, it also never got any cooler. The furniture had visible stains and a few of the pillow cases had staining as well. The pillows themselves are downed pillows and once you lay on them, they flatten out thin. We requested a few extra pillows that were supposed to be brought to our room which never arrived. We requested more towels which were also supposed to be brought to our room which also never arrived. Breakfast on morning one for us which was Sunday was great, however it was apparent that the fruit and pastries were being reused daily and by our check out morning on Tuesday they were no good. The pool area was decent. You have to reserve the canopy so it was unusable to us. Overall, our stay was okay. I wouldn’t say it was awful but I wouldn’t say it was great either. We don’t intend on staying in the future.

Very clean rooms, friendly staff, nice thick pillows. My only complaint is that the room temperature can only be adjusted from 70-68 degrees.

"My wife and I really liked the hotel. Great location next to the Arch, and we found the staff very friendly and professional. Our only issue was we found the manager at the Ruth Chris steakhouse attached to the hotel to be rather snooty."
