“Wonderful location on the waterfront and close to the main street of Burnie. The staff are so helpful and welcoming. Dining facilities are outstanding and we can vouch for breakfast and evening meals which offer variety and are very good quality. Our room had a comfortable bed, great water pressure in the shower, good climate control, but the best feature was being able to hear the ocean waves crashing on the beach.”

The towels were the same. The bathroom was in the process of being renovated; new vanity didn’t quite fit so there are missing skirting and mismatched paint. The “inviting lounge” area is anything but. The help yourself fruit and nuts were all way past deadline date. And stools along the front bench were...

“I have stayed at this accommodation twice now in both the family style joining rooms and the executive suite. Both times have well and truly met our requirements. I wish the staff were a little more open to conversation rather than short abrupt answers to questions which can come off as rude. I do believe the staff genuinely want to help no matter how short their responses are. I will definitely stay again.”
