“I embrace historic charm and quirkiness; what I don’t like are doors to bathrooms and bedrooms that don’t shut properly and lack of cleaning. The bedroom was described as deluxe double but there is nothing deluxe about it. The carpet was stained and had not been vacuumed recently as evidenced by dead flies and numerous bits. “I was going to visit the Brecon Mountain Railway and I needed somewhere close by to stay for the night. Luckily, I chose the Butchers Arms. The room was lovely and clean and the bed very comfortable. The food was filling and tasty and I had breakfast looking across to the start of the Brecon Beacons. The beer was wonderful especially the Butty Bach (little friend in Welsh). ”

“Es un lugar muy bonito, espectacular en un lago y rodeado de las cabañas de madera. La casa muy bien, muy cómoda y amplia. Para 4 personas esta muy bien, cerca de Cardiff. Se disfruta mucho del entorno de la casa. el lugar es idilico y muy bonito. El desayuno esta muy bien también. Las recepcionistas muy amables. ”
