“The host was friendly helpful and I had an enjoyable stay. Welsh breakfast was delicious and of high quality. Bedroom is spacious and comfortable. It is a bit away from the castle but 10 mins walk from pubs and restaurants so it is quiet at night. Host was helpful in trying to get me a taxi for Sunday which was a bit of a chaos. If I pass by there that would be the place I stay.”

“Lovely room with a view. Owners very welcoming and friendly. Breakfast you couldn't fault great choice hot and cold. A lovely terrace outside to sit with a drink and admire the view, also a communal lounge. Great location, only downside is you have to look for parking but we managed to find a spot.”

“A superb experience from the lovely warm welcome on arrival, to the tasteful furnishings, large room with wide range of courtesy teas, coffees, biscuits and little fridge. The ensuite is spacious and has a gorgeous multi- shower. The superbly comfortable bed and "quiet time" meant a peaceful and deep night's sleep. The menu offers extensive food choices to suit every taste. The appearance is well cared for and inviting, dripping with healthy happy profusions of flowers despite the heat and……

The (Robinson) room was spacious with very comfortable chairs for watching a good sized tv with digital channels, excellent wifi, plenty of drawers and wardrobe space, gorgeous bed linen and an extremely comfortable super king bed. The room was extremely well equipped with everything you could ever need - iron and ironing board, hair dryer, magnifying mirror, coffee, tea, water, proper wine glasses and tumblers, corkscrew etc etc. The list goes on! Breakfast was plentiful……

“We had a wonderful short stay and couldn’t have asked for better service. The staff were exceptional, incredibly friendly, and went above and beyond our expectations. I needed lactose-free milk for breakfast, and they actually went out to get it and had it back within minutes — such a thoughtful touch!
