“We really enjoyed the stay. The owner, Richard was lovely and friendly. It’s an old guesthouse, but it is part of its charm, and the room was kept clean. We stayed in a twin room, we wished that there had been a bedside ramp, but it’s not the end of the world. The only thing that we will miss would be there is no fridge if we visit in warmer days. The shared dining room was very helpful, and packed meals were a bonus. It was wonderful overall, great place and great location for our purpose. The……

“The Three Cocks Hotel was an interesting facility. We arrived at about 6:50 pm, 10 minutes before end of check-in, but there was a note on the counter with the room key for self checkin. Odd process with nobody at the desk, the key to the room left out and no form of security at the front door. The hotel was clean, comfortable and quiet, which we appreciated. A very rustic hotel, with very uneven floors, sagged support beams, rickety wooden front door and door upstairs. Breakfast was ok, but……

“Everything was fine and they were very helpful when Expedia did not send the pass code for the door or tell us our room number. As this site says there were no Hosts available after 5 for check in. WE HAD TO SLEEP IN OUR CAR OVER NIGHT AND WE GOT A PARKING TICKET TO BOOT! I WAS TOLD THAT THIS HAPPENS ALOT WITH BOOKING THROUGH EXPEDIA. WOULD LIKE AN EMAIL TO DISCUSS GETTING REFUND AND COST OF THE TICKET.”
