About this property

Architect-designed house with pool, exceptional view of Uzès, 350m town center

  • 3 MINUTES from the historic center of Uzès, hidden behind its dry stone walls and immersed in a SETTING OF GREENERY, SCENTS and SILENCE. A luxurious modern house with garden, swimming pool, vast living room and 4 bedrooms await you for a family dream or friendly vacation.

A haven of peace a few steps from the historic center of Uzès.
Gisfort is as much the ideal place for a calm and serene rest as it is the starting point for exciting excursions to the sites steeped in history in the Gard: Uzès, Nîmes, the Pont du Gard...or to the many cultural or sporting activities offered by the department (festivals, music, rafting, ferias, climbing, etc.).

When modernity and nature go hand in hand.
Gisfort was designed to BLEND INTO THE GARDEN that surrounds it. Its bay windows, which adorn the main rooms, not only provide a UNIQUE VIEW of the Fenestrelle Tower and the old town, but also give the feeling of being in communion with the flowers and trees.
No neighbors, no noise, the feeling of being out of time.

This spacious house provided a wonderful base from which three generations could relax by the pool, dine outside as a family, and explore Uzes without the need to take the car.The views from the house are spectacular and the pool area and gardens beautifully laid out. As described, it is the shortest of walks right into the heart of Uzes with cafes, restaurants and shops aplenty. The host was always quick to respond during the booking and during our stay.

Great house

Fabulous house & garden, lots of space, quality inclusions. A short walk to the town centre. Rue de Gisfort a little narrow for a large car, unless travel outside Uzes use of car unnecessary. We could not recommend more highly.

Provençal Dream

We had a Beau and memorable week here in Uzès. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t as warm as we expected but the last couple of days we had sunshine and everything sparkled. I loved sitting in the beautiful garden and listening to the birds. The view of the city was amazing and we were lucky enough to entertain family and friends while we were here. We also had an incredible second wedding ceremony amongst the pool and garden. Everything was accessible and easy. We loved our time spent at the property and so did our 3 year old son. Discovering the surroundings and trampoline!

Beautiful setting for a quality, spacious property both interior and exterior. Excellent communal areas for our party of 6 adults to interact and enjoy with all the facilities required, the photos do not do justice to the reality. Our hosts were very special, never intrusive but always available and helpful. A very short walk to the centre of stunning Uzes which has numerous restaurants, shops and wonderful markets.

We we were two families with three kids 7-9 years old sharing this house. The house has all the basics sorted out really well (including the small things like a disorganized kitchen that other holiday homes disappoint you with) and on top of that great things that makes the home unique - location (very short walking distance to the city)- magnificent outdoor area and view of the town- host (responsive, and attentive)The one watchout is that the street to the car is sometimes a bit narrow, don’t come in an oversized car

Fabulous house, exceptional location

We enjoyed a wonderful holiday! The house is great and everything we’d hoped for, with an amazing pool, vibes and gardens, including plenty of space for our teenagers. It’s just a minute’s walk from beautiful Uzes, where we spent lazy days looking around the shops and markets, and enjoyed many meals in a diverse choice of restaurants. Communication, check in/out was seamless - thank you Cyril and Marzena.

great home, great city (Uzes), great trip!

Cyril's property in Uzes was excellent. It's walking distance to the center of town (about 8 min), has fantastic views of the cathedral, and the surrounding grounds within the property were beautiful (pool, flowers, olive trees, etc). Very responsive and good communication. Would highly recommend and would stay here again.

Fantastic position in a beautiful town

A group of eight stayed in this wonderful house for over a week. The house is superbly situated with a beautiful outdoor entertaining area with pool. The garden and living spaces have terrific views of the town. Bedrooms are well positioned upstairs and on the lower ground floor. Corresponding bathrooms have toilets separated to assit with the larger group. The kitchen, although state of the art when built, could now benefit from some updating. This house gave our family a wonderful holiday. Thank you.

Amazing Views

We loved the panoramic views of Uzes and the valley leading to the open country. A short walk to the centre makes the breakfast run to the boulangerie a moment of meditation. The pool was not heated but cold water swimming is good for you. The house is elegant and comfortable. We had a great time, thank you Uzes!

Lovely

Very nice house situated just 5 minute walk to the center of town. Views from almost every room were fantastic. House is large and comfortable. Communication with the owner and caretaker were easy. It was a little too cold to swim much but the pool is just beautiful. The town of Uzes is a gem. Would happily stay again.
