“Our son is playing for the Sawmills Timberkings this summer. We made the trip to spend a week with him and watch a few games. This house was conveniently located close to his home field and fit our group of 5 perfectly. Would definitely stay here again if we are back near Sawmills. ”

“Perfect place for what I needed. Clea. Well kept. I’d stay here again. ”

“Well appointed home in a great location. There is a beautiful deck/dock at the bottom of the hill, however the hill is steep so it is a hike to get to. Alternatively, there is a neighborhood pool and boat dock, which is a four minute drive from the property. We used this dock to launch our boat and jet skis and it worked great. ”

“Even better than expected! Master bed and pillows were very comfortable. The location was perfect for our relaxing weekend. We took advantage of the awesome dock by renting a boat so the kids could play on the lake. Some pretty impressive houses on the lake to drool over. Less than 10 mins to a grocery store and less than 20 mins to Hickory. We are very pleased with the accommodations. Thank you for sharing your home with us!”

“Our stay was great. The property was just as advertised. I would say a little more hilly than I was expecting but nothing unusual for the area. The rooms were large and roomy and the beds and bedding comfortable. Certainly more than enough room for me, three of my adult kids and their significant others. Funny story, it took a whole to find the pots and pans but...that will live in family tales forever. My only advice is make sure and bring personal grooming needs: no shampoo/conditioner, no……

Great swimming for the whole family right off the dock in the cove as well as excellent fishing; Bluegill, Rock Bass, Small Mouth Bass and Catfish!The house worked great as a central hub for surrounding activities such as the Biltmore Estate, Carowinds Park, Pisgah National Forest as well as some great local shopping and restaurants within a 15 minute drive. ”
