“nice enough place (a little outdated) with a great breakfast buffet (including lots of Indian foods to try!) I only drank water from bottles (which they give you 2 bottles a day and I left them in the fridge for cold drinks later). shower was good. did not use the pool. convenient enough location with a mall close and a pharmacy right next door”

“Checkin was good, we requested early checkin and they provided, appreciate that.
Rooms were good and spacious, toilet can be more cleaner.
Breakfast spread was good, taste also adequate.
Coming to the lifts, only 3 lifts are there and some of them does not have all the buttons working, also at some point the card stopped working, not a single case, I heard many people complaining about lifts.. so frustrating, so much time was spend around lifts.
Overall I feel this as a 4 star considering all……

“I recently stayed at Eighth Bastion during our trip to Fort Kochi and it was excellent experience. Staff was excellent and ready to assist. My room was spacious, clean and and incredibly comfortable. One of the highlights was the breakfast buffet, it had a great variety of fresh, delicious options. The location was walkable to beach, water metro and great attractions, also there are great cafe's closeby. I highly recommend this hotel and would gladly stay here again!”
