"First thing to say is you'll probably need a car as it's about a 40 minute walk to Castelbuono - and coming back is quite steep walking. The upside of that is you are in a very tranquil location. It's idlyllic. Hardly a sound apart from birdsong and the occasional gentle charming clang of a cowbell as (presumably) some nearby cows were being led out to pasture I booked this place because its advert focused on tranquility - and it really lived up to that. "From the moment we arrived Alberto was fantastic and very helpful. Alberto, Carlos and Alberto’s mum provided a fantastic Sicilian feast on the first night and catered for one of the party who has a nut allergy. The villa is lovely and the pool, grounds were perfect. It is a little tricky getting to and from the villa with the car but quickly got used to it. This was the perfect relaxing part of our Sicilian holiday. Already planning a return. Grazie!!"

"This property gave us and a fellow family lots of space to enjoy the Sicilian sun. The pool was great as was the view towards the surrounding hills and the sea. It was nice to experience a somewhat cooler climate than down the sea. On the downside, it took us half an hour to drive up and down the hill to get fresh bread in the morning. The property is somewhat run-down with the odd gadget not working. The owner tried to fix everything though. This is not a luxury property but I would recommend...

"Fabulous 3 villas set in gorgeous gardens. Ideal for large family group of 15. Lovely owner who popped in every morning, but never intrusive. Treated us to pizza on first day and delicious croissants during the week. He didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak Italian, but we managed with languages app and sign language! Amazing pool area ideal for relaxing holiday. Highly recommend this booking."

"We had a very relaxing holiday in Lascari. The property is as described in the add, with nice and very clean rooms and bathrooms, well functioning AC in all bedrooms, a well equipped kitchen with nice seating area outside and a large table inside as well. The garden was very neat and the pool was kept clean. There are two beaches within seven to 15 minutes walk, Spiaggia di Piane Vecchie is the closest, with hardly any people but no amenities so bring your own parasol etc, and Spiaggia Salinelle...

"The place was great if you are looking for a slow pace holiday. No ubers near by so you have to walk to town. The beach was awesome mostly had it to ourselves. There is a dog next door that they keep outside all the time so I had a few nights where I was woken up intermittently with barking. The owner is responsive and brought whatever we needed. We especially appreciated the pizza our first night as we arrived late, tired and hungry. "

"Beautiful setting, quiet and luxurious. Food was amazing. We had the Chef’s special menu for 50 Euro as it was so good. We had to leave early in the morning due to a train strike but they provided breakfast before we left which was nice of them. We were travelling by train and it was quite expensive for a taxi from Cefalu but worth the trip. Great view from pool. Would recommend and would be nice for a special occasion."

"Beautiful grounds and pool. Beach disappointing, but quiet. Music every evening went on too late, near hotel rooms. Breakfast and dinner buffets excellent, but very difficult to get to anywhere else to dine as shuttle returned to hotel at 6pm.
