"Beautiful and relaxing setting. The hosts were lovely and helpful. In addition to advice on local tourism and restaurants were treated with fresh produce from their orchard out back. We always looked forward to returning to the Villa after a day of exploring the local sites. Note that getting to the villa requires a car and a comfort level in driving Sicilian back roads. Make sure you arrive in the day time. "

"First thing to say is you'll probably need a car as it's about a 40 minute walk to Castelbuono - and coming back is quite steep walking. The upside of that is you are in a very tranquil location. "This property gave us and a fellow family lots of space to enjoy the Sicilian sun. The pool was great as was the view towards the surrounding hills and the sea. It was nice to experience a somewhat cooler climate than down the sea. On the downside, it took us half an hour to drive up and down the hill to get fresh bread in the morning. The property is somewhat run-down with the odd gadget not working. The owner tried to fix everything though. This is not a luxury property but I would recommend...

"This villa is perfect for a family stay, total 5 bedrooms in the main house and 1 bd/ba in a separate house. We stayed in April and our pool was heated, we enjoyed swimming even though it was cool weather. Location is very nice. 3 very good restaurants in walking distance. We were going to Cefalu quite often for lunch/dinner and beach. Huge backyard for kids to run around and play structures. 2 large outdoor tables for alfresco eating."

"Fabulous 3 villas set in gorgeous gardens. Ideal for large family group of 15. Lovely owner who popped in every morning, but never intrusive. Treated us to pizza on first day and delicious croissants during the week. He didn’t speak English and we didn’t speak Italian, but we managed with languages app and sign language! "I loved our stay at this property!! Wonderful accommodations - both inside the house and outside. We had 3 kids in our group and they enjoyed the outdoor ping pong table and pool.
