"Absolutely loved everything about this motel! It had everything we needed for a quick stay. Only downside was that a delivery truck came at 06:30am on a Saturday and was so very loud and scary sounding we could not sleep! But if you’re not in the rooms by number 2 then you probably wouldn’t have heard it. When I do come back I’ll request a different part of the motel for sure. "

"My family wanted to spend one more night exploring Copenhagen and this was the closest and reasonably priced hotel that had a brand name I recognized. It was perfect for what we needed. It was within 30 minutes of Copenhagen and within 10 minutes of various food choices the family was interested in.
Outside of the need of paying for breakfast, the options were great, and everyone was happy with their selection of juices and pastries."

"Wakeup is a boutique budget hotel so keeping in mind it will be a small room it was worth the price. The elevators were hard to get and we were a bit disappointed that we had to pay for a luggage hold. We understood an additional fee for early check in but to pay an additional 100dkk to hold luggage seemed unnecessary. That said we were thankful the option was available. Place is very clean and safe and within easy walking of central Copenhagen."

"This was one of my families favorite stops on our Euro trip! The staff were very friendly and helpful and there were endless games for us to play. We had a great time hanging out in the lobby and playing games together. The room was comfortable and clean and the breakfast was delicious! Public transportation was a short walk away and easy to navigate. I only wish the room had a fridge. Otherwise, it was great!"

"8 adults & 4 kids from 15-6 stayed for a week in Taastrup. We loved the place and enjoyed easy access to the S train to get into Copenhagen and local shopping. As a group, we all enjoyed the outdoor table and bedroom layout and the kids loved the indoor play area and hot tub. A point of interest is that it's near the train tracks and so when we were outside we heard trains going by. It did NOT effect sleeping unless we had windows open and overall it was not a complaint - just a reality we were surprised by. Taastrup is 25 minutes from Copenhagen Central station by S train. It was not a factor for us and the trip to/from each day went quickly. Being near the end of the line meant we always had seats going into the city.The home is secluded and we really enjoyed the privacy and appropriateness for our family of all ages. I texted Ulrik a couple times and he responded in a timely fashion. They were gracious and accommodating hosts. Overall, we'd return in a heartbeat and our kids wish we'd do it again. "
"Wittrup motel was great. Good option for cheaper accommodation near Copenhagen with free parking. I had no car, but public transportation was easy with 123 or 141 bus and i loved being on the green B line, excellent access to everything. Good restaurant on premises, but also try fantastic Turkish restaurant across the street, Mina Etliekmek. Rooms spare but clean and bathrooms modern. "
"The staff at this property were first class and so helpful, and always ready to assist despite it being Christmas when i stayed there. The house itself is very pretty and in a very cosy, pretty traditional Danish rural area in Copenhagen. it was also extremely clean and the bed in my room was unbelievably comfortable, probably the most comfortable bed i’ve ever slept on and i could tell it was memory foam. Very quiet and safe area and again the house itself is very pretty and traditionally Scandinavian with traditional Scandi ornaments decorating it. The toilet and shower were also extremely clean as well as there being a large very clean kitchen area. All in all a wonderful stay and very cosy! Really a good example of hygge vibes!"
"Our hotel/hostel of choice when we visit our family in Sluseholmen. My review is based on its excellent value for money. If you like more luxurious accommodation then it may not be for you. We only use it for sleeping in as we spend daytime at our son’s appointment. The room has no tea making equip or mini fridge. There is shower gel & hairdryer. We’ve stayed in quad rooms which is a bunk bed and two single beds pushed together like a double bed - and also a double room which had two single beds on each side of the room. There’s no wardrobe, just some coat hangers on rack. The bed linen is clean & crisp and white towels. They don’t change bed linen/ towels - you’re welcome to ask at reception for clean linen when required. Housekeeping do pop in sometimes to replenish toilet roll/ empty bins. Breakfast is paid separately- and I’d call it Continental - including warm boiled eggs - toast - pancakes -fresh rolls - cereal -yoghurt hit drinks & fruit juices.
