The breakfast was amazing!

This place is a gem. It is authentic to the Lake Orta area (near train station and a reasonable walk to the lake), but it is also welcoming to visitors from around the world. Nice family vibe but also would be good for a couple. The restaurant next door served a perfectly memorable dinner, and they also provided a delightful picnic lunch. Breakfast is regional--farm fresh. The room is modern, simple, clean. We would love to return.

We absolutely loved our stay at the White Lilac! A beautiful property with wonderful views and a relaxing atmosphere. The staff were exceptionally helpful and welcoming, making our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommend and would happily return!

The rooms are nice and clean. However, if you have room that face the street, it is very noisy starting at 5:30am. It well insulated if you sleep with the windows closed. Breakfast is ok. Friendly staff.

Phenomenal. Incredible architecturally significant property with top-quality gourmet restaurant offering mind blowing tasting menu. Staff is absolutely the best it can be. Best service and food there is. Must see and experience to believe.

The young woman at the reservation desk who greeted us was lovely and helpful. Her suggestions for the day and where to have lunch in Arona were most enjoyable. In the evening, a gentleman at the desk directed us to a restaurant nearer the hotel for dinner, not near the lake. Our fault for not being specific. All in all, a good choice for a close location to the airport.

Omg! What a most fantastic fabulous place this is! We LOVED the house, it was beautiful, large areas, A/C was perfect, sofas were so comfortable we both fell asleep wondering if we really had to move to the bed… bed is actually amazing. I hadn’t slept that late in ages! We drove from Munich, Germany for a wedding to Lago Maggiore. Looking for hotels in Stresa, we found out that the prices where not very fair and quite expensive for something nice. Looking through hotels.com we found a brand new hotel which opened only in May 25th and seemed to be very modern and luxusrious with a great value. I would def visit the Hotel again if I visit Laggio Magiore. The staff was very friends and profesional. The hotel rooms are very nice and are in great conditons. Bathroom...
