“We visited Balito with a family of 7 and had the most wonderful stay. The hotel is small but updated and it is run by a wonderful family who makes you feel at home. The pool area is lovely and the breakfast and coffee is perfect in the morning. The rooms were good for our large family (we had two rooms with 3 beds each) and the area is very walkable. It’s about a 14 min walk to the beach (with my slower children) and a 10 min taxi into Chania. There is also a bus to take you to town and some of……

“This is an amazing hotel!
The grounds are beautiful.
The pools are very big and always will have room, never felt crowded.
It is a 3-minute walk from the beach and about 10 minutes by bus to Chania town.
The food is great. We had the all-inclusive plan, and it is highly recommended, especially for families. The food quality is very high and there are options for everyone's taste. The place to be in Crete.
Staff was great as well, always there to help with a smile.”

"The hotel had a 80s decor and vibe, but the not-so-modern outlook is totally, if not over compensated, by the impeccable service, cleanliness, view at the breakfast restaurant, quality of food, and the ample size of the swimming pools which provide more than enough room for everybody to enjoy. We have had an amazing time there! I paid extra for a side sea view room because the picture looks like a frontal sea view, but it wasn’t, and I probably would not have chosen the same room type next time. "
