“This is the first time we visit Maldives as well as this resort. It’s not a big resort but like a small village. Staff are friendly and they could remember where you from and who you are (at least at room number). Don’t expect those “Sir” or “Madam”, as I believe they are trying to serve you like a friend from somewhere far away. We enjoyed the time in Veligandu with our overwater villa. “Room was nice and big, however, a few things missing. No mini fridge for cold water. No hand towels in the bathroom. Light in shower didn’t work either. No place to rinse your feet before walking into room, since the door leads straight onto sand. Overall a pleasant stay, great location, just some small things that could make a huge difference. ”
