Instead of sleeping in the loft, my husband and I chose to stay downstairs on the pull out couch….. it was surprisingly comfortable! The neighborhood was very quiet and off the beaten path - which was refreshing. The only tip I would pass on is if you have a lot of luggage it is not a quick / easy trek from the train station as there are many bridges in between. A great solution is to pay a luggage runner to use their carts to do it for you so you can enjoy the walk. They make themselves available outside of the train station as well as on the route returning to the station. The water taxi is a 5 minute walk which made getting around easy. The host, Eleonora, was awesome. She made things easy and was very responsive.
