"Quaint little place right off the River Dee in Aboyne. They have taken care to make sure you have all the modern amenities, but also retain a pub style cafe at the front of the inn. The staff were very kind, the food was amazing, and the beer was cold. I have been here almost 2 weeks and this was one of the best places I have stayed. Strongly recommend if you are passing through Aboyne. If you don’t plan on going to Aboyne, you should reconsider given the shine of this little gem…"

We ate in the restaurant: the food was excellent, plenty of choice for two vegetarians like us, and the staff were very helpful. We also tried some cocktails which were also excellent. Our stay was relaxing, enjoyable and good value for money."
