Unpleasant manager; outdated rooms, which look nothing like the online photos; old mattresses; no towels, no bed sheets and no toilet paper (this is something you have to pay extra for or bring your own). "The property was in a quiet location but had lovely views of the canal & attached swimming pool. The kitchen was well equipped but a kettle would have been useful for making cups of tea. No Towels change etc. Apartment with sea view is misleading - unless you book the last floor, the view is obstructed by a horrible restaurant. "House was spacious and pool was good - although it would have benefitted from steps rather than a ladder. Much of the grounds and the house itself needs some money spent - like so many rental properties owners are happy to take the money but not to spend it updating their property. As an example the TV was probably 20 years old. The cutlery was similarly old. The pillows provided were pretty grim. All little things but they do impact on enjoyment.
