This is a unique hotel with charming interior reflective of seville’s history - there is attention to detail in every corner , and a kind and professional team that looks over this property. We enjoyed our room, the decor and ambience, the beds and sheets are very comfortable and luxurious, and the regular housekeeping and replenishment of coffee/tea/drinks in the mini bar was also greatly appreciated.
The hotel also has a unique self service bar downstairs with unique design and amazing ambiance; we also appreciated the availability of snacks and drinks provided there
Perhaps one thing that needs to be addressed is the smell out of the bathrooms, which we noticed as soon as we entered our room and it got progressively worse with time. We recognise this is a problem across Seville’s historic buildings, but want to point out that due to the lack of windows/ proper ventilation in the bathrooms, combined with a likely old sewage system, the smell in the room was extremely beyond unpleasant - the housekeeping staff do their best with the incense provided and when they tidy the room- but the scent in the bathroom is extremely foul to the point thay you cannot simply mask it with scents when you have a sewage problem
I encourage the hotel to try and address this as it likely indicates a serious issue with the sewage system. I also encourage them to add a dehumidifier in the bathrooms. Beyond that, we really enjoyed our stay and we thank all the staff at the hotel
