Where to start with The Chedi Katara? What a blissful experience to stay here for our 3 nights! I wish I could have extended it forever! Service was impeccable from *everyone* on staff, and you feel like a very valued guest, no matter who you see or interact with. I'm very particular about cleanliness, and I could find no fault. The rooms are very comfortable and well appointed, and the beach is lovely. I must call out the multiple members of staff who made our stay a memorable one — Abid at reception, who helped us with a very early check-in. And, then, there is the staff at The Restaurant! Our breakfasts were made better simply because of the staff: Thin, May, Mounsef, Koyel, and Fatema, while Chef Sayeed joyfully served us his excellent pancakes and French toast. The one improvement I would suggest is clear communication on available amenities — we didn't know how many restaurants were on property, and only found a second because a member of staff saw us returning to only one restaurant for the third time and suggested another. All in all, an excellent experience! I would say this is a 6-star property, and, having sailed a 6-star cruise, I think I can say that from experience :)
