"The hotel is right in the centre of Workum and has a big terrace on the main square. Plenty of free parking close by. We were there on the busiest weekend of the year, yet still received a warm welcome and were well looked after during our 2 nights' stay. The only negative was that the (spacious) room was very cold and the aircon difficult to adjust."

"I stayed here with a group of 8 friends on a cycling tour of The Netherlands. This was the favourite hotel of everyone. From the moment we arrived until the time of our departure we really felt like guests in someone's home. Nancy and her team did a fantastic job of making us feel welcome. "Sehr schöne Anlage, direkt am Wasser. Häuser sehen alle gut aus. Aber leider waren die Matratzenschoner dreckig (Haare) und es gab noch andere Sachen, die negativ aufgefallen sind. Zudem ist der Preis trotz Nebensaison sehr hoch, für das was man bekommt. Check-Out ist um 10.00 Uhr, obwohl man selber putzen und aufräumen muss."

"This is a nice hotel in the centre of De Koog, not too expensive. The room was spacious and clean. The bathroom also spacious and there is good light above the mirror. The shower is good. There is a nice restaurant attached with excellent food. My only negative is that the bed was sagging in the middle, not so comfortable."
