“One of the best places i have stayed in New Zealand!
Staff were amazing and very friendly.
The best mattress - a proper mattress- ive had during my trip. The mattress was soft enough, not like a board, a full sized queen (not two singles pushed together) and was lower to the ground.
Bathroom clean and tidy. Nice thick towels. The shortbread in the kitchenette was delightful.
Very close to local shops and cafes. Two doors down you have a range of food choices.

“It’s rare that you run into an innkeeper who thoroughly enjoys hosting the wayward traveler. Glenys is one of those people. Being a Kiwi also is an advantage. Yes the rooms are clean, spacious and inviting but it’s the warmth and welcome that seals the deal for the biker on the Hauraki rail trail

“Appears to be a quaint 60s or 70s era motel. Small kitchenette with microwave, fridge and sink but no stove. Room is small but adequate. Washroom faucets appear to be a bit worn as it was hard to control the water temperature. Shower water pressure was a bit low. Surprising number of amenities nearby including gas station and supermarket just down the street. Several eating establishments just beyond the gas station including decent Chinese takeout and even a fine dining restaurant. Just a……
