“This was our second visit to Maui, so we wanted to try something different; we chose something upcountry instead of on the beach this time. We will likely go back to the beach for future visits, because we really didn’t enjoy having to drive all the way back and change after spending time on the beach. That said, the property was not a bad choice. Our stay was pleasant, with the exception of a random leak that happened in the unit’s restroom. Also, the patio could have been a little cleaner. We……

“All the directions were very clear. Parking was secure and easy. The home is so quaint, comfortable and has everything needed for a short stay. We loved watching the rain come down while sitting on the bed that is on the patio. Despite the heavy downpours, the whole porch was dry and comfortable. This place was perfect for what we were looking for in Hana. ”

“First of all. The host gave me not one. But two! Wrong pick up addresses. Causing me to waste 3 Ubers. And then they have the audacity to charge me for the picking me up at the wrong location. And the end of 5 days of rental I noticed bed bug bites on myself. It could be from the tent or even the vehicle seats. Made a complaint and the host/ Expedia refuse to take accountability. Don’t recommend. You’re better off renting a suv and buying a cheap tent. Not impressed. ”

“We stayed while the storm was passing through, I believe this was the only place on the road to Hana which had power and water as they are self suffiecient. The gardens were gorgeous and Michael and Terry were very good hosts. The location was exactly as described in the listing.”

“Great location near Paia shops and short walk to Mama's Fish House, & beach. Enjoyed our stay at Kuau Plaza. The condo was just as described and pictured. Nicely furnished & decorated. Comfy bed, everything you could need in the kitchen, nice bathroom...all looked brand new! Although right next to the road, we barely heard the traffic. We would stay here again.”
