"This is such a special place. Our cabin is adorable with chairs on a little front porch and all the amenities inside one could want. The bed was super comfortable. We had a fire outside in the fire pit last night. The wood was provided and we enjoyed sitting by the river with a waterfall that flows past the place. This is my kind of glamping at a very reasonable price. I highly recommend the cabin stay. This is our second year and it’s better than last as the pool is open this year and has a new liner. Everything is lovely. "

"A buddy and I needed a place to stay for a weekend of mountain biking with a big group of friends. The location is perfect. Maybe ten minutes from Darling Hill where everyone meets to ride and less than ten minutes from town. There is a trail head on the same dirt road that the property is on, but we didn’t have the opportunity to check that trail out. The house is perfectly set up for a couple of mountain bikers. There’s a shed with a padlock to store the bikes, a full size refrigerator in the entryway plus a smaller fridge in the common area. There’s a washer and dryer which came in handy after getting caught in a rainstorm on the trail. Each bedroom had plenty of space with a comfortable bed, and the bathroom was really spacious with a modern shower. Definitely will try to stay here again!"

"Coming from the hustle n bustle of Los Angeles, this was the best getaway from real life. No noise other then mother nature itself and the beautiful backdrop of Wallace Pond to keep you company. Our family was so relaxed and felt very at home. This was a great location in Canaan and close by Aprils Maple. The layout of the home was very well planned with everything needed in kitchen, laundry room, play room for kids, tvs, plenty of walking to do and kayaking/life jackets for the lake lovers. Julie is a fantastic host and gave us a tour when we arrived to make sure we knew how to work and get everything sorted. She was even kind enough to bring us banana chocolate bread, was a wonderful welcome to sweet Vermont and friendly locals! We will definitely come back again on our next stay coming back east. "

"We had another wonderful stay on the lake with our dogs! Cottage was just as great as it was 3 years ago & the new owners were lovely! Excellent communication, cottage was clean and cozy, as described with a few upgrades! We loved sitting on the enclosed porch or gated deck with a drink after a hike or mountain bike ride & our dogs just relaxed on their beds looking at the beautiful lake view. The community beach was a great way to cool off after the days activities & the BBQ grill was perfect for quick and easy dinners. Highly recommend this vacation rental!"
