Just right for us. :)
Having four king-size beds and plenty of space for everybody (12 of us) was such a treat! Only issues were not enough toilet paper (had to run to the store) and some dishes that had been put back into the cabinet dirty. I also wish we'd brought beach towels for the hot tub and extra kitchen towels. Seems like we were always needing to wash towels and we ran out of laundry detergent. But those are just minor things. Overall, very nice and exactly as listed. The one issue that did come up was very quickly attended to even though it was Thanksgiving day. I would definitely stay here again.

Not Far from Home
We were looking for a vacation home located on the lake not far from our Warsaw residence that would accommodate our family of 12 which includes our 6 grandchildren ages ranging from 8 to 16. Joy’s home was a perfect find!!! The grandkids really enjoyed the theater room, darts & game table. The 4 grandsons liked bunking together in the bunk bed room too. The 2 granddaughters are already talking about next year & staying longer! We appreciated the extra space & Joy’s hospitality!!

The home and grounds were beautiful. The host was a pleasure to work with, and addressed problems/inquiries that we had in a quick and timely manner. Parking is limited. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone traveling to Truman Lake and the surrounding areas.

Beautiful house but hot tub wasn't working
The house is beautiful, very nicely located only 15 minutes from tow. We had a great time by the fire pit and watching movies in the theater room. When I looked at the reviews I noticed the last review said the hot tub wasn't working. So I reached out to the host. I let her know that is the only reason we were renting the house and wanted to make sure it worked. She assured me it works and everything was good. She called me on the day of checkin an hour before we are supposed to be there to tell me the hot tub wasn't working and she would try to get someone to look at it. I don't know why it was checked right before we came over instead of the day before but she did not get anyone over there the 4 days we were there. She messaged me on Sunday to let me know her maintenance man would be by to grab something out of the garage but never tried to get the hot tub working knowing it was the only reason we came. I wasted alot of money as it was just us 3. I wanted a hot tub lake house for my birthday. That's all I was asking for and the whole reason for renting the house was not working our entire time. If you are going to rent this house and care about the hot tub I would get a guarantee in writing by the host before paying. Very disappointed doesn't even begin to describe it. I get accidents happen but she knew ahead of time that was the only reason we rented the house.

Weekend at the ozarks
A lot of basic amenities were not functional during our stay. The host was kind enough to send someone out to fix the issues during our stay twice but they still never worked (AC and heated water did not work). A lot of the property also had existing minor damages so be aware (paint missing, photos broken, door didn’t lock, windows wouldn’t lock, etc.) I would definitely visit again the house was amazing and so was the host but the basic functions of AC and heated water in august definitely were a struggle.

Family Fun in the Ozarks
Three generations of family gathered in a central location for a fun-filled week in the Ozarks. Our host had everything you could need at the house and it was in fantastic shape to host all of us. The house is nicely nestled in a lakeside neighborhood and convenient to Warsaw nearby and other attractions in Land of the Ozarks within easy striking distance. We had fun in the water, by the water, on the water, and even over the water. You will enjoy your stay, too.

Our family and two other families stayed at this property for a long weekend. The house was clean and stocked with all the items we needed. Beds were super comfortable and it had a beautiful view. We enjoyed swimming off the community dock down the road. I highly recommend this property!

We had 12 adults and the house was very spacious and beautiful! We absolutely loved this rental and look forward to staying again in the future. The view from the screened in porch was idyllic and perfect for sipping my morning coffee.

Beautiful and lots of room for a big family
House was clean with a gorgeous view of the lake. We had tons of fireworks shows to watch from every angle. Would have loved to be able to actually get on the lake from the house but not a huge deal. Great place to stay!

Great family vacation house!
The house is exactly what the photos and profile show. Any question we had was answered quickly. We had 11 kids and adults from ages 3 to 65 and all had an incredible time. Days spent fishing and on the lake and evenings playing games, watching movies or making smores around the firepit. Wonderful lake house for our family!

Fantastic house in a great location
The house is great and perfect for a family gathering! Close enough to town to be able to get to groceries and close to the Truman State Park Lake to be able to enjoy the water! Joy was excellent to work with and quick to respond to any questions we had! Highly recommend this rental!

Great Place Tons of Romm
This is a fantastic house with tons comfortable hang out room for a large group. Sitting outside you are far enough away from the city to sit outside and actually see the stars. We spent lots of our time in the backyard. The house was also immaculately clean and well taken care of. The kitchen is very well equipped and there is also another cooking area on the upstairs porch which is very handy. When I am in this area again, I will stay at this house if it is available.
