The apartment features painted original brick walls, a monochromatic interior with touches of colour throughout, eclectic decor, and an open-plan living area. The apartment is located on the rear of the building with a lovely view of the communal garden which you can admire from the large wooden windowsill seating area while enjoying your morning coffee. The place is kept in eclectic style with comfortable and stylish furniture adding extra charm. Plenty of natural materials and warm light will make your stay feel very cosy and special. The flat is completely refurbished and kept with original materials like flooring, doors, bricks. The bathroom is entirely redesigned and new kitchen and wooden windows fitted. Mariensztat is a neighbourhood in Warsaw's borough of Śródmieście (city centre). It is located between the Vistula River and the historic Old Town. The historical neighbourhood dates from the 18th century. The neighbourhood was razed to the ground during the Warsaw Uprising in 1944, with only a few burnt-out shells of buildings remaining. Reconstruction work began in 1948, involving a complete redesign of the street plan and architectural appearance of the area. This was the first Warsaw housing estate built after World War II on a spot completely destroyed in the Warsaw Uprising. The flat is small - no surprises there - but it was very well-equipped. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The water in the shower was plentiful and very hot. The view of the little park/playground through the window was lovely. We enjoyed the neighborhood very much and the proximity to Old Town and the river.
