"Outstanding setting in the woods. Cabin was rustic and romantic. The best part was watching my husband enjoying the fishing. We did end our stay a day early only because our dogs were getting bit by ticks. That is to be expected in the woods. A few minor things needed attention and the owner was very nice when I brought it to her attention. We do plan to go back but we will probably go when the ticks are in their off season and when we are better prepared. They had information about a few places in the area and to our surprise the ice cream was the best we ever tasted. The creamery offered other items but we did purchase milk and chocolate milk. I promise you it was worth the time. The porch had a Very nice breeze in August that felt like October, made a great way to wake up with coffee and water view. "

"The staff was very considerate in a time of bereavement. My wife's mother had passed away and all of her siblings were staying there. Some of the staff's family members were acquaintances with our family. We couldn't have been treated any better. I want to thank them from the bottom of my heart. Their kindness was overwhelming.
