Stayed in an economy single. Not much space, dated, but sufficiently clean, bed was comfortable, hot water worked well. I would put it on par with a private room at a hostel. Not much in the immediate area, but also not that far from a lot of stuff. There’s a little shop almost directly across the street for snacks and water, guy was fair, not trying to scam you (about 10 EGP for a 1.5L water). I walked from the train station, and then to all the major tourist sites.

The price is reasonable. The staff and reception were very nice and active.
The Wi-Fi and the air conditioner are very poor. The ac sounds loudly and very dirty without cleaning for long time.
