Watch the sun rise over the water while the Cormorants dive down in the water catching fish. Situated on two intersecting canals that are great for catching Redfish, Black Drum, Speckled Trout, and the occasional Alligator Gar. Large kitchen and living room lead to a large covered deck and fishing dock where the ocean breeze awaits. All amenities to cook and entertain. We provide three (3) Kayaks for our guest to use during their visit. The canals are just a short paddle to Salt Lake and Copano Bay. Private boat ramp for you to launch your boat with a deck built lower to the water to make it easier to get in and out of your boat with a fish cleaning stand that has both running water and electricity. Underwater green light/lights help bring in the fish. Backyard is fully fenced with a charcoal and propane grill that allow you to cook while fishing. Just right for young and older family members. A dock for fishing and relaxing and two porches. Felt instantly at home with everything I could ask for but the food. Had plenty of space. The dock was awesome. Beautiful at night when lit up. AC was nice and cool. The kayaks were an added bonus. The owner was great with communication. Quick responses and willing to help at any time. Host reached out with check-in instructions a few days before stay. Location was great, right at the “T” on the canal to Salt Lake. We made use of the available kayaks every day and went up and down all the canals and out on Salt lake. Didn’t catch any fish from the dock that were keepers, but caught enough blue crabs to have two meals for three people. Steamed one day and crab cakes another. Close to town. Very well stocked and had everything needed to cook meals at home. Beds we’re comfortable.
