Beautifully decorated lake house on year round water with a big kitchen, lots of windows for gorgeous views of the lake and just steps to the two story dock for sun bathing and covered boat slip. The dock has 4 lounge chaises and a table with four chairs to eat lunch or enjoy a snack. The top of the dock is perfect to catch a sunset or star gaze at night.
The house has so many places to entertain or just relax. Find a cozy area such as the bed swing or outdoor seating to relax and unwind. The full size bed swing inside the screened porch is perfect for naps or reading a book and always a favorite by guests . The wood deck located next to the screened in porch has an outdoor table for 8 to eat and also outdoor furniture to hang out while grilling on the gas grill. Kids and adults will love to roast marshmallows in the solo smokeless fire pit with Adirondack chairs for 8 guests. There is even a portable projector to stream a movie on the outside wall while sitting around the fire.

Inside the house there is a big fully stocked kitchen to spread out and entertain with a table for 8 , 3 bar stools and table with 4 chairs in the living room/sunroom. There is plenty of board games, cards for adults and kids, a karaoke machine, and several classic dvd movies . Bedrooms and sunroom/living room have smart tvs for streaming with Wi-Fi provided.
The living room/sunroom has wall to wall windows for great views of the lake. The Living room also has two twin beds and queen sleeper sofa with two glass doors that close the room off to the other part of the house. That way guests can still sleep in and early birds can get up and cook breakfast in the kitchen without waking others.

We know you will love your time at the house but If you prefer to venture out, Wedowee is a quaint southern town with a winery/brewery, local furniture and gift shops as well as restaurants with live music. The house is just a couple miles to the grocery store, liquor store, shopping, and all the local restaurants and marina.

Very nice house and location
This is a real gem. The kitchen is HUGE and well appointed so anyone planning a family/friend outing will have plenty of room to cook and lay out a great buffet. The outdoor areas are also a plus. From the screened in porch to the outside seating, we enjoyed the comfortable space. The two-tiered dock is also really great and our fishermen in the group spent a lot of time there. The only downfall of the place is that both bathrooms, although VERY nice and big, are en suites. So if you have people sleeping in the glassed in room that have to 'go' at night, just be prepared that they need to walk through a bedroom to use the bathroom. Wasn't a problem for our group of friends but this could be an issue for others.

Great House Great Host
So happy we chose this rental. The open floor plan enabled us all to interact whether cooking, playing cards, or watching television. There were wall to wall windows overlooking the lake. The beds were extremely comfortable. The furniture was comfortable. It had everything we needed. There was an issue with the stove but the host responded quickly and a repair man came out immediately. Can’t wait to return!

Quiet and cozy get away with everything you need.
This property has everything you need whether you are cooking or grabbing a bite at the restaurants in Wedowee. We did a bit of both and enjoyed great conversation surrounded in comfort.

Great vacation hideaway!
It was a beautiful house and very comfortable. We enjoyed it thoroughly. The open concept was perfect for the little ones. We especially enjoyed the screened in porch area. The only disappointment was that there was no propane in the grill. The pathway to the boat dock was also very hard to traverse, and really could use some stairs. But everything else was perfect. We would definitely stay there again!

Stunning Wedowee Lake Home!
This house is the perfect getaway for a long weekend! Well appointed, spacious, and beautifully decorated. We felt right at home! The two story dock has ample seating and no problems docking our boat. Just minutes from a wonderful bbq restaurant and creamery! Julie is an extremely gracious host and we look forward to future stays!
