“The property was just as described. It's a cozy place for a stay on the lake, our kids loved sleeping in the loft room! Nice and cool indoors, which is important during the summer months. We liked how well stocked it was, lots of items we packed that we didn't even need. It is located in an area that is great for learning to kayak, especially for young kids. I would certainly recommend this lake house. We had a wonderful stay and made some great memories with our children!”

“My daughter and I stayed at this adorable cottage for my sister’s birthday party in Sylacauga. The owners were easy to reach and eager to accommodate. The property was clean, easy to find, and on a very peaceful part of Lay Lake. We enjoyed our visit and recommend this rental property. ”

“This was a lovely place to stay. So much room and the restaurant across the street was fantastic. Best burger I have eaten at a restaurant. The host was fantastic. I do recommend. ”

“Rustic lake cabin with beautiful views of the Coosa river which looks like a huge lake. Comfy beds and from your pillow in the main suite you can see a panoramic view of the moons reflection dancing across the water. Solid dock on the water, lots of trees and birds to watch. Not fancy but definitely charming. Fantastic back porch w/ plenty of rocking chairs, large table. & porch swing. It’s like going back in time.”

“This particular host and home went above and beyond for my family and I before, during and after our stay. Communication was great. Anytime I reached out I got an answer on the other end (Responded quickly). Any items and amenities that we could have thought of or needed was available for us in home. The house was clean, beautiful, organized and up to par. Neighborhood is very peaceful and quiet. Neighbors were very welcoming and nice. We will definitely rebook this location and host for our……

“We had a wonderful stay. The house was clean and the kitchen was well stocked with the things we needed. We enjoyed the outdoors, most of all. We did arts and crafts at the outdoor table. We relaxed on the deck and in the evening we had a beautiful fire in the fire pit. Would certainly stay again if we were in the area”

“We came for a crafting event at the end of June. The house is lovely and is “off the beaten path” which was fine with us. The owners were very responsive to some requests and had products delivered while we were there. The AC is not centralized but there are units in every room. We would stay there again.”
