Quiet countryside shipping container home. Relax or enjoy outdoor recreation

  • Enjoy a secluded stay in a peaceful country setting. Our modern shipping container home is nestled on a hillside in the corner of our 160 acre farm. This unique space has 2 bedrooms, each bedroom has a queen bed and full closet. The bedrooms are on opposite sides of the house, making it perfect for two couples. The home is complete with a fully stocked kitchen and a bathroom, a commons area and a deck overlooking the countryside. A beautiful 5 min drive from Viroqua and Westby, WI. Two quaint small towns with lots to offer. The Driftless region has a wide variety of year-round outdoors activities to offer. Spend the day trout fishing on nearby streams, biking the Driftless area, canoe the Kickapoo river, or go for a hike at our many parks, and return to the peace and quiet. Enjoy the scenery from the deck or have a bon fire.

We have stayed in a lot of VRBO's and this one is in our top 10. Well stocked with everything you could think of. Very private area and we enjoyed the deck and the fire circle in the yard. We had smores with our grandson. We will definitely stay here in the future when we come to visit our family.

We loved our stay at this getaway! This place is clean, beautifully decorated , a great country vibe, quiet, comfortable furnishings, and a ‘I want to come back’ feeling to it. And we will, come back!!! So close to great food, artsy places, and great visitor places! (We loved Branches Winery!).

Comfortable stay

Enjoyed time at the property while visiting family in the area. The Wi-Fi was excellent, which made remote working easy. Would definitely stay again next time we're in the area.
