However, the property is very dated, cleanish but in dire need of some TLC. Some of the amenities did not work...eg a wall heater in lounge. The stove in the kitchen needed a really good scrub as did some surfaces.The water pressure is very poor and the temperature of the hot water is minimal. Room is spacious but the furniture is quite worn. Some noise from the road next to the building and also from the emergency service helicopters which probably fly to the nearby Whangarei Hospital. Because I was still sitting in the car outside my room after check out, I could see through the open door that my bed had been made again, but the sheets had not been changed.
